Introduction

The Department of Social Work was started in the year 2003 offering Master of Social Work (MSW) a two year post graduate program with three specializations. 

Ph.D programme of the Department is about to get started in 2021-2022, which provides a broader knowledge in the field of Research in Social Work.

Duration

  • 2 year post graduate course offering 3 specializations,
  1. Human Resource Management, 
  2. Medical and Psychiatric, 
  3. Community Development.

Eligibility / Qualification 

    1. A Bachelor’s Degree of a minimum of 3 years duration or its equivalent (under the 10+2+3 or 10+2+4) from a recognized university in any discipline.
  • A candidate who has passed and secured a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in B.S.W. / B.A. / B.Sc / BBA / BCA degree examination from / under a recognized university .
