Objectives

  • To ensure academic and clinical excellence in physiotherapy through regular curriculum reviews and skill-based learning.
  • To promote innovative teaching methodologies, including simulation-based and hands-on clinical training.
  • To strengthen research culture and encourage evidence-based practice among faculty and students.
  • To foster industry and hospital linkages for enhanced internship and employment opportunities.
  • To facilitate continuous faculty development programs (FDPs), workshops, and training in emerging physiotherapy domains.
  • To integrate community-based rehabilitation (CBR) and outreach programs into the curriculum.
  • To collect and act upon feedback from students, alumni, clinical partners, and employers.
  • To ensure effective documentation, reporting, and dissemination of quality initiatives.
  • To prepare and submit the Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR) and maintain compliance with NAAC standards.
  • To nurture leadership, ethics, and professionalism among budding physiotherapists.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership- Approve IQAC initiatives- Chair all IQAC meetings
  • Coordinate IQAC activities- Maintain records and AQAR- Liaison with NAAC and stakeholders
  • Ensure administrative support- Help in documentation, communication, data management
  • Provide academic inputs- Assist in curriculum planning and quality benchmarks
  • Provide an external perspective on quality initiatives and national standards
  • Offer industry insights- Advise on employability, clinical relevance, and skill expectations
  • Represent student concerns- Offer feedback on academic and clinical learning
  • Share post-graduation experiences- Help in tracking outcomes and building alumni networks
  • Support in community-based learning and rural camps
  • Provide policy support and funding approval
