Rules & Regulations

Cheran College of Physiotherapy maintains a disciplined academic environment to ensure professional conduct, academic excellence, and patient safety. Students are expected to follow the rules and regulations prescribed by the institution and the affiliating university. These guidelines are designed to maintain academic standards, promote ethical behavior, and ensure smooth functioning of academic and clinical activities.

Discipline & Code of Conduct

  • Students are expected to maintain discipline and professional behavior within the campus, hospital premises, and during clinical postings.
  • Respect towards faculty members, patients, staff, and fellow students is mandatory at all times.
  • Ragging in any form is strictly prohibited and punishable as per government regulations.
  • Students must maintain proper dress code and wear identity cards inside the campus and clinical areas.
  • Any act affecting the reputation or discipline of the institution will invite disciplinary action.


Attendance Rules

  • Students must maintain a minimum of 85% attendance in both theory and practical sessions as prescribed by the university.
  • Students who fail to meet attendance requirements will not be permitted to appear for university examinations.
  • Leave must be applied for in advance with valid reasons and approval from the concerned authorities.
  • Participation in approved academic or co-curricular activities will be considered as per institutional norms.

Examination Rules

  • Students must comply with university examination regulations and schedules.

Library Rules

Hostel Rules

Transport Rules
