Cheran’s College of Physiotherapy conducted a two-day Advanced Certificate Program on Sports Manual Therapy & Rehabilitation as a Value Added Course for BPT Final Year students on 24th and 25th January 2026, in association with Crescent Institution of Therapeutic Sciences.
The program featured Mr. Mohammad Faizal as the Resource Person, who delivered comprehensive sessions on Physical Diagnosis, Palpatory Techniques, and Manual Myofascial Release, with special emphasis on clinical application in sports rehabilitation. The sessions were designed to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and hands-on clinical skills.
The program was conducted under the leadership and guidance of Dr. Aroona, Principal, whose academic vision and support ensured the successful execution of the program. The event was effectively coordinated by Dr. Anusha and Dr. Annalakshmi, ensuring smooth organization of both theoretical and practical sessions.
The two-day program witnessed active participation from the students, who benefited from interactive lectures, demonstrations, and practical workshops. The hands-on training enhanced students’ competence in assessment techniques and manual therapy skills essential for sports injury management.
Overall, the Value Added Advanced Certificate Program was highly informative and practice-oriented, contributing significantly to the professional development and clinical preparedness of BPT Final Year students.
